The Challenge

With around 160 staff members on site and an average of 25 visitors and contractors per week, it was essential for Fosters to update their current sign-in method. Their previous means of signing in, a visitor book with paper forms was proving to be laborious, time-consuming, and required a member of staff to be present at all times. Fosters needed a modern sign-in solution with an “unmanned reception but with better visitor controls and records”. They were also looking to control visitor access, ease compliance with the BRC Global Food Safety Standard, and maintain a nut-free site.

The Solution

Fosters’ sign-in solution is revolutionised now they have an EntrySign self-service kiosk installed. Visitors receive a warm greeting and are made to feel welcome, being addressed personally. When visitors sign in, EntrySign automatically notifies the host person of their visitor’s arrival with a message, including the name and photograph of the visitor.

This makes it easy for us to welcome visitors, by name; especially when more than one person arrives.

When signing in, visitors see various Health & Safety and Food Safety notices that must be acknowledged as they sign in. These notices incorporate colour pictures alongside text making our messages easy and quick to understand.

The on-site solution allows them to manage visitor access, view all important data and records, and streamline processes, saving valuable time. EntrySign has also eased compliance with important industry and global standards by screening visitors, improving data controls, and displaying various health and food safety policies when signing in
